We have a real treat for FIFA fans now, as the first gameplay for FIFA 12 has leaked out ahead of EA’s intended release later on today. The video gives a solid look at how FIFA 12 has progressed from FIFA 11, both from a gameplay and graphics point of view.
If you want an early look at the video, you’ll see EA demonstrate the brand new ‘Impact Engine’ featured in FIFA 12, and it really does look impressive. FIFA 11 by comparison definitely wasn’t an ugly game, but once again the graphics have been improved for the new season and the player models and ball physics look fantastic.
Watch the video below, which has been provided early by IGN. We also recommend watching some parts in slow-motion so you can really see whats going on. Player shadows, ball shadows, even the ref looks in fine form. Also, we love the level of detail for the players that aren’t even in view as well – a feature which FIFA purists are going to appreciate no doubt.
Expect a full preview of the game sometime next week when EA’s embargo is lifted. Let us know how impressed you are with the graphics and gameplay seen in the video below. Is FIFA 12 a definate purchase for you, or are you going for Pro Evo instead?
