By Updated on

Although we knew that the Ninja Gaiden III game existed, we’ve unfortunately been unable to provide our readers with any information as details have virtually been non-existent. That is until now anyway, as it appears that the very first game details have recently been revealed.

According to an article by Nik Blomquist over on the gamebreakers.co website, the new details come courtesy of the latest edition of the Official US PlayStation Magazine. However, nothing has been confirmed about the game as of yet, so you may have to think of these details as possible features.

It looks like fans can expect to see the return of blood in Ninja Gaiden 3 and judging by the recently released screenshots; it appears there is going to be a lot of it. The game is also said to feature a solid 60 frames per second framework, as well as a heavier focus on Ryu.

Team Ninja is also said to have confirmed that they will not be toning down the difficulty of the game either. According to the article, Ninja Gaiden III will focus more on Ryu’s backstory. There will not be a weapons store in the next installment either, as Ryu’s equipment will be upgraded as the game progresses.

There’s some really good news for all you multiplayer fans as well, as Team Ninja has revealed that the game will support up to eight players in versus and co-op modes. Finally, it looks as though there could possibly be support for the PlayStation Move controller.
