If you are trying to lead a healthy lifestyle it can be difficult knowing what foods are good and bad for you, luckily these days we can get help with mobile applications. iSatFat 2.2 lets users keep a track of saturated fat with an iPhone app.
Released by independent developer James Hollender, the application has just received an update which has information for over 1,100 different food servings. Users of the application can easily find and record the saturated fat for foods. It is ideal for anyone who needs to keep a limit of their daily intake.
All the information in the app is based on the USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference. The recent update now allows users to record the saturated fat intake by number of servings. Many people who have trouble with their heart will have a limit of saturated fat given to them by their doctor or health advisor.
Foods are listed with colors with black being very high and white extremely low. There are eight food tables ranging from fast foods to fruit and vegetables. iSatFat 2.2 is available worldwide on the App Store for only $1.99/£1.19. Requires iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch with iOS 4.2 or later.
