Full PSN restoration, Sony NGP release still on course

With the recent issues that have been occurring with Sony and their PlayStation Network making the much anticipated Sony NGP. In a recent article at Andriasang however the company has been reported to have said the portable device is still on course for its release this year.

Sony’s schedule keeping hasn’t exactly been up to its best lately, but with the company’s statement about the Next Generation Portable release being made and the statement in regards to the full restoration of the PSN which they also made at their financial briefing, things may be about to change.

The release of the NGP has always been expected for the end of the year but there has never been a specific date mentioned. Jack Tretton, PlayStation US boss claimed there may be a delay due to the earthquake in Japan, but those statements were retracted.

Whether we will see the Sony NGP this year or not won’t be confirmed until the end of the year comes and goes. In the meantime we can see over the next week whether the company will stay true to their word about the PSN restoration. Check out the article full article at Andriasang for more details.
