If you’re one of the many PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers that are waiting for the arrival of the much-anticipated Spec Ops: The Line game, then I’m afraid to say that it appears you’ll be waiting a little bit longer for its release as the Dubai-based shooter’s release date has suffered yet another delay.

The last time the publisher Take Two Interactive spoke about the Spec Ops: The Line game, it was due to be released no later than March 31st, 2012. However, according to Michael McWhertor over at kotaku.com, the launch date appears to have been pushed back even further.

Take Two has recently updated the game’s release window from fiscal year 2012 to first half of fiscal year 2013. For those of you that don’t really understand what that means, it basically means that the Spec Ops: The Line game should be arriving sometime between April 1 and September 30th, 2012.

The Spec Ops: The Line game – which was first announced back at the end of 2009 and made an appearance at last year’s E3 event – was originally scheduled to be launched in Take Two’s 2011 fiscal year. Yager Development’s upcoming game is due to arrive for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Spec Ops: The Line is a third-person shooter with an emphasis on squad-based tactics. The game puts players in the role of Captain Martin Walker, who is accompanied by a Delta Force bravo team as they embark on a mission to save a U.S. Army Colonel who stayed behind in Dubai.

Are you looking forward to the arrival of the Spec Ops: The Line game?
