Back at the end of March we told you that the HTC Desire S had just become available to pre-order from Vodafone UK. Now we have heard that Vodafone UK has just announced that it has now started selling an exclusive red version of the Android-run smartphone.
This is of course good news for those of you that prefer their smartphones in the more unusual colors as opposed to the more common colors such as black or perhaps white. As Vlad Bobleanta at unwiredview.com notes, the color is unfortunately the only thing that’s changed on the exclusive handset.
All the specs are the same, which as you know includes a 1GHz single-core Qualcomm processor, a 3.1-inch capacitive touch-screen display with Gorilla Glass, 768MB of RAM, a 5MP camera with autofocus, LED flash and 720p video recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G.
The monthly contracts have all stayed the same as well. You can pick up the red version of the HTC Desire S smartphone for free, but that’s only if you commit to a new 24 month contract that will set you back at least £30 a month. For £30, you get unlimited texts, 600 minutes and 500MB of data.
Would you buy the red HTC Desire S?
