Brink PC patch update: Gamer’s problems after download

Last week we informed you that updates were on the way for the recently released Brink title from Splash Damage and Bethesda, and now we’re pleased to inform you that the first title update is now available to download for those of you with the PC version of the game.
This patch is separate to the early patches that Bethesda has already released in relation to graphical and connectivity problems that gamers were facing at the start of the month when the game first came out.
However, this latest patch focuses on eliminating lag from the game, while also fixing other minor issues with the game such as sound drop outs when playing online or memory crashes when using the alt tab command.
PC users can download this patch now via Steam, and you can check out the full patch update notes over at Eurogamer. As for as the planned Xbox 360 and PS3 updates, they are still ‘coming soon’, no solid release date at the moment unfortunately.
If you have a copy of the game, let us know what problems you are facing below. What is the biggest problem in the game – connectivity, lag or graphics?
