If you’re thinking about buying the much-anticipated Resistance 3 game, the chances are you’ve already played the first two games in the series. However, there may still be a small minority of gamers that want to buy the third installment, but perhaps didn’t quite get around to playing the previous titles.
We have some good news now for those of you that perhaps fall in the latter category, as according to Mitchell Sellar over at playstationlifestyle.net, the developer Insomniac Games has recently announced a Resistance ‘Greatest Hits’ bundle, which as you can guess packs the first 2 games together.
An insert included within the Battle: Los Angeles Blu-ray disc reveals that a Greatest Hits bundle – which contains both the Resistance: Fall of Man and the Resistance 2 game – will be coming to stores sometime in the summer, with an MSRP of $39.99.
The insert also states that the bundle will include $10 worth of bonus content, as well as an exclusive Resistance 3 skin. As we mentioned in a previous article earlier this month, anyone who purchases the Battle: Los Angeles Blu-ray will also gain access to a single player demo of the upcoming Resistance 3 game.
Resistance: Fall of Man originally released on November 17th, 2006 in North America. The game saw players stepping into the role of Sgt. Nathan Hale, as he battled against an alien invasion. Resistance 2 followed Nathan Hale’s story, as he left Britain and headed to America.
Have you played the first two Resistance games yet? If you haven’t, are you tempted to buy the Greatest Hits bundle?
