We’ve known for a quite a while now that the much-anticipated HTC Sensation would be heading to other UK carriers following the Vodafone launch, but up until now we didn’t exactly know when. However, it now appears that we can provide you with a Three UK release date update.
According to a recent article by Anton D. Nagy over on the pocketnow.com website, a recent Twitter message from Three UK has revealed that the HTC Sensation – which has now been listed as shipping from Vodafone UK (and SFR France) – will not be part of their line up until June.
Although that is the only information they provided, so we still don’t know what part of June we can expect the Android smartphone to arrive. The HTC Sensation, which is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, is currently listed as ‘coming soon’ on Three UK’s website.
Besides the 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, the HTC Sensation also comes with a 4.3-inch touch screen with a qHD resolution, an 8MP camera with auto-focus, dual LED flash and 1080p video recording, a VGA front-facing webcam for video calls, 768MB RAM and 1GB of internal storage.
The HTC Sensation runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with HTC’s new Sense on top. Are you thinking about buying a new smartphone? If so, are you tempted by the HTC Sensation at all?
