We have some great news for those of you who are interested in picking up Square-Enix’ latest game, Dungeon Siege III, as the publisher has announced that there will be a demo prior to the game’s release, which will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms.
The game is not due out until later on this Summer, but you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll able to try before you buy with a demo release which is coming shortly, as reported from vg247. However, it looks as if Xbox 360 owners have the last laugh once again, as they have a timed exclusive on the demo, a whole week before the PC and PS3 gets it.
Xbox 360 gamers can download the demo on May 31st, but PC and PS3 gamers will have to wait until June 7th to get their hands on it – Xbox 360 gamers may feel this is sweet payback for Mortal Kombat, as they were somewhat ‘shortchanged’ with no exclusive character while PS3 gamers received Kratos from God of War.
If you haven’t been keeping up to date on progress for Dungeon Siege III, you may find our included video below helpful, which shows off the latest trailer for the game.
Are you planning to get Dungeon Siege III on either platform? What are your thoughts on Microsoft getting the demo first?
