Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 – new multi-platform game confirmed

It looks like this year is going to be an exciting one for Harry Potter fans. Not only have they got the release of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 movie to look forward to this July, but they also have the upcoming launch of the Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 game as well.

According to a recent article over on the guardian.co.uk website, the Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 game – which is not being released until the winter – will be heading to multiple platforms, including the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo Wii, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS and 3DS and the upcoming Sony NGP.

The upcoming game, which is based around the last three Harry Potter books and the final 4 movies, features a variety of new environments, including Godric’s Hollow, the Ministry of Magic and Grimmauld Place. It will also feature brand new spells, lessons and enemies.

Video game developer TT Games has also promised fans that it will come with a wealth of bonus content. The Lego Harry Potter game is set to be the 3rd Lego tie-in released this year, what with Lego Pirates of the Caribbean and Lego Star Wars III having previously been released.
