Intel Powered tablets promised: Likely debut Computex

Nearly all of you would have heard of Intel by now, the company has been in the computer market for a long time, dominating in the processor department of the market. Despite the dominance in this market, the company has struggled to make an impact in the mobile phone and tablet market.

Their main problem has been producing a chip capable of providing the power that we are used to with Intel while maintaining little battery usage. The news we have today suggests that Intel are at the moment working on a chip good enough and will be debuting their new Intel powered tablets at Computex this month.

The news comes from an article at the Wall Street Journal, which explains how Intel intend on using their Oak Trail processor designed for tablets to compete with their main rival ARM. However analysts believe they have a struggle on their hands due to a lack of contacts in the industry.
