Fans of Sniper: Ghost Warrior will be pleased to hear that City Interactive has confirmed that their next release, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, will be revealed next month at E3 2011. The last game received pretty poor review scores, however the engine which the new game is using should improve things this time around.

The next installment in the Sniper Ghost Warrior series uses an engine developed by Crytek which is aptly named CryEngine 3, this engine was used to make Crysis 2, therefore we know that it is more than capable of delivering the goods for City Interactive.

According to WorthPlaying.com City Interactive has stated that the next game will take Sniper: Ghost Warrior to “new and exciting heights”, other comments suggest that it will be more challenging than the last game and the graphics will apparently be stunning.

Hopefully at E3 2011 we will get to see the game in action, find out details regarding the platforms it will be coming to and an idea of its release date, when we hear more we will keep you posted.
