HTC Flyer Android Tablet: Now In Stores Across Europe

Just yesterday we told you that Three UK had revealed a price on contract for the much-anticipated HTC Flyer and although the Android tablet was listed in their latest product catalogue, there was still no mention of a release date. However, it now looks like the tablet has arrived!!

According to a recent article by Vlad Savov over at engadget.com, the Android run HTC Flyer is in now in stores across Europe. In regards to the price of the tablet, the 32GB 3G +Wi-Fi model has been priced up at £600 / €649, while the 16GB Wi-Fi only version has been priced up at £480 / €499.

However, local carriers – such as three UK – are offering subsidized pricing as low as £129 when purchased on a contract. The HTC Flyer, which is powered by a 1.5GHz processor and features a 7-inch display, will ship with the capacitive stylus (dubbed the Magic Pen) included in the box.

The HTC Flyer also features HTC Watch, the company’s new video download service. The service offers over 600 premium TV shows and movies from major studios. Users have the option of buying or renting their content, which can be watched immediately through progressive download.

As from today (May 13th), the HTC Flyer tablet will be available both in store and through the HTC.com website in the following territories: France, Italy, Germany, UK, Spain, Denmark, Portugal, Greece, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic.
