StarCraft 2: New Patch Goes Live – List of Changes

If you’ve had a chance to play the StarCraft 2 game over the past few hours, then you may already be aware of the new patch that’s recently gone live on Battle.net. However, we do have a list of changes for those of you that didn’t know about the 1.3.3 patch.

As noted by Fred Dutton over on the eurogamer.net website, the update comes with a number of tweaks and bug fixes for Blizzard Entertainment’s popular science fiction based real-time strategy sequel. This includes slight re balancing to all three of the game’s races.

After installing the latest patch, players will also notice that the default hotkey to toggle the in-game music on and off has now been reverted back to its hotkey prior to the previous Patch 1.3.0. As a result, the hotkey to display APM in the observer stat panel has also changed.

The new patch has decreased the Zerg Infestor’s speed from 2.5 to 2.25, as well as decreased the Zerg Spore Crawler’s root time from 12 to 6. Players will also discover that the Protoss pylon power radius has also been decreased. Instead of it being 7.5, it is now 6.5.

A number of known issues have also been fixed with the latest update, including he problem where Ghosts could not quickly EMP the same location and the issue which enabled players to stack air units while issuing a queued stop command before the units got to the end of their patrol point.
