The year of the tablet continues to churn out new devices, all arguably hiding in the shadow of the iPad 2 but none the less all individual. Here we have news of another slate that is trying to stand alone in the competitive market.
The NEC VersaPro VK15V/TM-C packs the power of a netbook even though it is a 10.1” tablet. It has a Windows 7 OS and a massive 64GB SSD making it one of the biggest storing pads on the market. Its large display has a 1280 x 800 resolution and is one of the highest spec displays out of the Windows tablets.

Extra storage is an option with its SDHC slot and amongst its other features are an HDMI-out, 2GB RAM and lastly the VersaPro has a 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 processor running the show. According to the article by Daimaou – G-A.G at Akihabara News there is no word of a price on the slate yet or how much battery life is promised form the device.
