We have some rather interesting news now for all you Manny Pacquiao fans out there, as we’ve just heard about a new multi-format game that’s recently been announced by the name of Manny Pacquiao: Pound for Pound. As you guessed by the title, the game will be based around the Filipino boxer.
According to a recent article by Jon Jordan over at pocketgamer.co.uk, the upcoming game – which is coming from Abu Dhabi-based start up Karkadann Games – is being designed for a casual audience, and will be available across a number of platforms including PC, mobile, iOS and Facebook.
Manny Pacquiao: Pound for Pound is described as an action RPG, in which you get to play Manny the martial arts hero. The game will see players battling through the underground world of villains on a mission of justice. Players will also have the opportunity to customize their characters.
Speaking about the new game, David Ortiz – the general manager of Karkadann Games – said that they are extremely excited about the upcoming launch. Ortiz went on to say that the game captures Pacquiao as a true hero, with the resilience, determination and will power that are unique to Manny.
