By Updated on

A recent article posted on AndroidCentral has confirmed that the HTC Sensation 4G has cleared the FCC, this means that T-Mobile USA can now begin their plans to release the impressive smartphone.

You can see all of the FCC documentation here, you will notice that the files talk about the HTC PG58100, this is the HTC Sensation.

To be honest with you a lot of the FCC information is not that interesting, however one of the docs says that the Sensation was received on February 10, 2011 and testing was completed on March 27, 2011.

Some people thought that the HTC PG58100 was in fact the HTC Doubleshot (aka the MyTouch 4G Slide), however AndroidCentral confirmed that this was not the case, the boring name for the HTC Doubleshot is the HTC PG59100, this device has not hit the FCC yet.

Hopefully now that HTC Sensation 4G has the all-clear for a U.S. release T-Mobile USA will soon announce release date, in the mean time you can find out more about this FCC approved smartphone here.
