HTC Bliss Release: Females Only, Hands Off Men

By Alan Ng - May 5, 2011

We have some interesting news to bring you now, as we’re hearing reports that Verizon and HTC are planning to bring a new smartphone to market before the end of the year. However, this isn’t your average smartphone, as this one is meant to be specifically designed for female use.

The handset in question is rumored to be called the HTC Bliss, and according to ‘ThisisMyNext’, it will be a Android handset due out sometime after Summer. Specific details are not known yet, but it’s meant to be a handset which males should stay clear of, leading us to suggest that it will come with a female friendly color theme and apps which females are likely to appreciate.

By this we’re talking about one click Facebook and Twitter access, calorie counting apps, shopping app facilities and maybe even some close integration message facilities to make communicating even more easier.

The source above has provided a mock-up image of the handset, so head to the link and have a look at the suggested design. The fact that this female-only handset could be coming out also poses an interesting thought: If this HTC Bliss is for females only, does that mean that the likes of the Droid and HTC Thunderbolt is for males only?

Any happy female Thunderbolt owners out there like to state your thoughts on this? We’ll keep you up to date with any further news on the HTC Bliss.

Oh wow – So what the creators of this phone are saying that women's interests are just shopping, thinking about their weight, and maybe not so smart thus they have to make messaging easier??!!!
