Back in March we announced that the Death Rally top-down racer game for iOS had finally made its way onto the Apple App Store. Now we have a bit of good news for those of you that downloaded the hugely popular app, as we’ve just learned that the game has now been updated.
According to a recent article by Anthony Usher over at pocketgamer.co.uk, Remedy Entertainment’s driving shoot-‘em-up game has now been updated to version 1.3, brining with it several bug fixes and a number of new features including a brand new track to race on.
The update has added a brand new frozen track to the game, which provides gamers with some slippery new action and a unique camera angle. It’s also added a new unlocking system that rewards users for the collection of track parts and new sounds for the Striker weapon and subway in Velodrama.
Other new additions to the Death Rally game include ‘Shadow Man’ – who is available via an in-app purchase – and the ability to restore your progress, based upon your Game Center data. We have embedded a video below this post, so readers can check out the new update for themselves.
If you haven’t already downloaded the Bronze Award-winning Death Rally game, you can pick it up from the Apple App Store for £1.79 / €2.39 / $2.99. Do you own an iOS device? If you do, have you got the Death rally game downloaded?
