The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer has been hitting the headlines recently being the most popular Android tablet to date. The recent news however has been about the shortages in stock that the device has, as previously reported by Gary Johnson.
The news that we have for you today comes courtesy of a review by Chris Davies of Slashgear on the ASUS Eee Pad’s official Sleeve Case. Made from a rubbery fabric, it avoids the usual vinyl or leather materials which can sometimes be a little beefy.
Much like the Smart Cover for the iPad 2, as well as protecting the tablet it also acts as a stand which can prop the device up which is handy when typing or watching video playback. Though it lack the subtleness of magnets which the Apple cover takes advantage of, it is a ‘snug fit’ and can tuck away neatly in places so as to stay in the desire position.
There are various cuts and holes in place to accommodate for the slots and the even the 5mp camera that the ASUS tablet has. Check out the full article over at Slashgear by clicking the link above for a full review on the accessory.
