We have some great news for those of you who are interested in picking up the impressive looking HTC EVO 3D. It has been confimed that retailers Best Buy are now accepting pre-orders for the device, in the way of a stealthy pre-order sale which hasn’t been advertised yet.
The information has surfaced courtesy of a Best Buy memo sent out to employees, telling them that they are now accepting pre-orders for the device as of May 2nd. The memo also reveals that the device will still launch sometime this Summer, but a solid date has not been confirmed yet.
You can read the memo in full, over at Android Central. Unfortunately, there are no details on pricing in order to reserve your HTC EVO 3D, so the best solution is to head down to your nearest Best Buy store and enquire about the 3D handset personally.
Just to refresh, the HTC EVO 3D packs some mighty hardware specs, including a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, two rear 5MP cameras, a 4.3-inch 3D S-LCD display screen and 1GB of RAM. Sounds pretty tasty doesn’t it? Just for good measure, you’ll also get the latest ‘handset’ version of Android too – Gingerbread. The EVO 3D will be exclusive to Sprint in the US, so head to Best Buy and reserve yours now.
Let us know if you are successful.
