When it was announced last week that the Nintendo 3DS port of the hugely popular Tales of the Abyss game would be making its way to North America at some stage, European gamers were left wondering whether they’d ever see the RPG released in their region.
Well now we have some good news for our European readers, as according to a recent article by Beyhan at gamingunion.net, NGamer has just revealed that the Tales of the Abyss 3DS game will be heading to Europe after all. However, it won’t be arriving until spring 2012.
The Tales of the Abyss game originally launched on the PlayStation 2 in Japan back in December 2005. It then made its way to North American stores in October 2006. The game featured the Flex Range Linear Motion Battle System, which mostly resembled that of Tales of Symphonia.
Just in its first year of sales in Japan, the Tales of the Abyss game sold a total of 440,225 copies. According to the gamingunion.net website, the upcoming 3DS port is due to arrive on June 30th in Japan and sometime in the Fall of 2011 in North America. Will you be buying the game?
