News from Eurogamer says that there are suspicions about the new title for the next Assassin Creed game. According to them, a publicity stunt was attempted on Ubisoft’s Facebook site but was pulled at the last-minute. Luckily, someone had found a file in the site’s flash page which revealed the name.
The logo that was found read “Assassin’s Creed: Revelations” and was written in the Assassins Creed font type which shows that it was probably not fake. The event looked like Ubisoft were trying to spread the word by asking people to like a page in order to reveal something about the new game, however something went wrong.
Before the secret was revealed, the page was pulled off the internet for an unknown reason. The user who found the image of the logo also found another image which was Altair’s name written in arabic. To be honest with you we would be shocked if the next game is not called Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, however until we hear official confirmation from Ubisoft we can’t be too sure.
Ubisoft has not made any indication as to whether the news is true or false however we suspect that we will hear more soon about the leak. If the news is true, what do you think of the name for the upcoming title? Maybe it hints to the story that we are going to find something out about Altair or his past. What do you think?
