Every now and again Apple exerts its authority, as it did the other day when they rejected an immigrant smuggling game called Smuggle Truck. However, it did not take long for the developer to launch Snuggle Truck. The compromise is very similar really, so would not have taken much to change things.
The old game was all about smuggling Mexican’s over the border in a truck, which did not sit well with Apple. So instead the developer thought that they would change this to taking cuddly creatures from the zoo and releasing them back into the wild. We have to ask our readers if they are happy with this compromise?
The iPhone and iPad app Snuggle Truck will cost $1.99 and $2.99 respectively. When you rescue the animals from the zoo you will need to supply them with food, water and shelter, as well as trying to keep them alive. This is certainly a nice game for kids, but where is the fun-factor?
Smuggle Truck would have certainly been better, and for those with a Mac and PC, you can purchase this still for $4.99. In this version of the game you will fill your truck with immigrants and try to get them across the border. There are a number of things standing in your way though, such as roadblocks, dangerous roads and much more. Remember that it is a race against the time, so get them across the border as fast as you can.
