Verizon Wireless and Motorola have recently pushed out a new update for the Motorola Xoom tablet, this update (HMJ07B) brings quite a few changes and improvements, therefore it is well-worth installing.
You can now access WiFi networks with Proxy support, also there will be support for WPA Pre-Shared Key pass-phrases, SSL data transfers, HDCP and Google Widevine DRM.
If you use Google Talk on your Xoom you will be delighted to hear that Gtalk now supports Bluetooth, also POP3 HTML email support will be improved as they will show in their entirety.
There are lots of other improvements which will be popular such as: Bluetooth mouse support, a new shortcut key for the Bluetooth keyboard, improved docking, less application errors and much more. You can see full details via the official PDF file.
The update should arrive over-the-air and you will probably receive a notification letting you know that it is ready, to download it manually go to settings, about tablet, system updates and then choose “Install Now”.
