Back in February we provided our readers with release details of Telltale Games’ upcoming episodic title Jurassic Park: The Game, which at the time was slated for an April release. However, it looks like you’ll have to wait a little longer than expected, as the release date has now been pushed back.
According to a recent eurogamer.net article by Fred Dutton, instead of releasing in April as originally expected, Jurassic Park: The Game will now be arriving sometime in the autumn. The publisher released a statement explaining that they needed a bit more time to add extra polish to the title.

Dan Connors – the CEO of Telltale Games – said that the game’s storytelling and mechanics have come together in such a way that they’ve seen great potential, and because of this, the company now believe that they can push those elements to the next level simply by spending a little extra time working on them.
Connors said that although they regret any disappointment, they are certain that fans will be pleased with their decision to delay the release. Telltale Games has said that it will refund all pre-orders of Jurassic Park: The Game, and will now offer those customers a free Telltale title of their choice.
