As lots of you are probably aware Prince William and Catherine Middleton will be getting married on Friday, later this week we expect lots of interest in the Royal Wedding Coverage therefore we thought we would point you in the direction of some great apps for iOS.

If you check out MacWorld’s recent article you can see a detailed article telling you all about the best and worst Royal Wedding apps for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. In our article we will highlight what we believe to be the most useful apps mentioned by MacWorld.

Firstly you need to know when the Royal Wedding starts, therefore the Royal Wedding Countdown is a must. This app counts down the time remaining until the wedding (down to the second), it costs just $0.99 and can be purchased here.

If you read Hello! Magazine you may want to download their free app for iPhone and iPad (here), this will pull content from their website and their writers are known for their “no stone unturned” approached. This may be too detailed for some, however if you want to find out every little detail leading up to the wedding you should download this app.

Finally Royal Wedding app by AppSNow.co.uk could be the one app you need to stay up-to-date with all of the latest information, it costs $1.99 and has even been featured on BBC News’ Technology section, it will bring you official photos, new blog feeds, official news, Clarence House tweets and a social network integration.

Check out MacWorld for all of the other apps they speak about, which Royal Wedding app do you like the most?
