Many of you have been waiting patiently for the illustrious white iPhone 4 to become available. We first told you a couple of weeks ago the handset was back on track to be released sometime this month. Then we have had the device appearing on carrier’s websites and on inventory. Today we can tell you of someone who got sold one by mistake.
Darren Murph over at Engadget is reporting that a white iPhone 4 got sold early in the UK. One lucky consumer went into a UK Vodafone store to buy an iPhone, and instead of getting the black 16GB model he was mistakenly given the white version.
Straight after the sale happened, Vodafone sent out a notice to all its retail outlets to stop the sale of any more white iPhone 4s until next week. There has been a lot of talk the handset will be landing on April 27th so that fits in with latest news.
So for now we will have to wait until next week to see if all these rumors of the white iPhone 4 are true. But there are many pointers that it is likely to be available next week.
Will you be getting the white iPhone 4 if it comes out next week?
