Top Group Buying Sites Explained

How many times have you purchased something for half the price what it should be? If you answer yes, then chances are you have used one of the top group buying sites. We have explained these kind of websites to our readers and family members for some time now, and at least I can say that some of them have now started to take advantage of these services.

WSJ wrote an interesting article just over a year ago, and looked at how these top group-buying sites differed from each other. Some certainly do a much better job than others, but there is one thing that is the same with all of them – all the deals only last for a limited time only. If we could give you any advice, then we would suggest that if you see a deal that sounds good, then act on it fast.

Knowing which is the best site to use will always be tough, as it all depends on what kind of deal you are looking for. However, ToMuse aims to make life a little easier by listing what they believe are the top ten best discount websites. We were shocked to learn of a few that we had never heard of before, but maybe you might have done?

First on that list is LivingSocial and allows shoppers to get deals that are based on local stores in your area. What makes this website so different is its social networking aspect, as it allows you to share your deal with other people using the service – what better way to spread the word.

Dealster has a huge inventory, and those who sign up to the service will receive emails when new offers become available. However, you have to purchase these vouchers, but the saving that can be made is worth the small fee.

Finally we have the website that we have all heard off, Groupon. This is the one that launched the whole discount coupon craze, but it is not as popular as it once was. The reason for this is how other discount websites have come along and taken the idea and then gone that one-step further. ToMuse has an informative graph that looks at each of these websites, then shows you which countries and cities you can use them in, as well as what incentives they offer and if they have an app to go with it. One thing we do know, these websites are here to stay, but how will they change to keep up with newer and better sites that will pop up?
