We have some pretty exciting news now for all the Rock Band fans among you, as Harmonix has just revealed details on the brand new downloadable content that’s on its way next week (April 26th). Not only does the upcoming DLC contain songs from KISS, but also tracks from Roy Orbison.
According to a recent article by Nick Chester over on the destructoid.com website, the downloadable content includes the three-song ‘Roy Orbison: 75th Birthday Pack, which costs $5.49 (PS3) / 440 MS points (Xbox 360) / 550 Wii Points (Nintendo Wii) and two separate tracks from KISS.
The 3 Roy Orbison songs – which can be purchased separately for $1.99 / 160 MS points / 200 Wii Points – include ‘Blue Bayou,’ ‘Only the Lonely (Know the Way I Feel)’ and ‘Dream Baby (How Long Must I Dream).’ The 2 KISS songs include ‘Strutter (Live)’ and ‘Rock and Roll All NIte (Live).’
Both the ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ and ‘Only the Lonely’ tracks are eligible for ‘Pro’ upgrades, which will cost you $0.99. The Rock Band franchise has seen plenty of DLC released over the past few months, including the most recent DLC that added songs by DragonForce, Santana and Blood, Sweat & Tears.
