It’s been a busy few months for MSI in regards to new products. Not only have we seen the unveiling of the Android 3.0 Honeycomb-based 100A and the WindPad 110W tablets, now we’ve received word that the company has just unveiled its new CX640 and CR640 laptops.
As Donald Melanson over on the engadget.com website recently noted, both models run on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and feature a 15.6-inch high-definition display and an Intel Core i3-2310M processor. They also boast what MSI describes as a clutter-free design.
Both the CX640 and CR640 also come with 4GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive and two USB 3.0 ports. The black MSI CR640 model comes with integrated Intel HD 3000 Graphics, while the silver CX640 features NVIDIA’s GeForce GT520M graphics with Optimus technology.
The CR640 can be yours for $629.99, while the CX640 can be purchased for $679.99. These two laptops also come with MSI’s Time Stamp Technology, which automatically backs up and restores information with one-touch, Rock-Solid Hard Drive Protection and Smart Brightness Adjustment.
