Gears of War 3 Beta Gameplay Video & Exclusive Beta Unlockables

If you are looking forward to getting your hands on the Gears of War 3 beta when it kicks off later this month you may be wondering what’s in store, well a recent article posted on Kokatu tells you all about it and also gives you a video tour of the beta access available as of April 14th.

The video tour shows you the game’s character progression system, challenges, medals and then shows you plenty of gameplay action, sadly we cannot embed this video on our page, therefore check out Kokatu.com for the video. You can also decorate your weapons, which is a feature we have seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

When the gameplay starts we really start to remember why this title is so highly anticipated, the graphics are stunning, especially when you consider that the game is in its beta stages. The video shows team deathmatch modes and a mode called Capture the Leader which looks very tactical.

There are lots of exclusive beta unlockables to gain, some of which will carry over to the proper game, some wont. Unlockables which carry over include the Flaming Hammerburst, Flaming Lancer, Flaming Sawed-Off Shotgun, Flaming Gnasher Shotgun, Beta Tester Medal, Thrashball Cole and finally the Gold-Plated Retro Lancer.
