12 Minutes of Gameplay Revealed in new Battlefield 3 Trailer

By Updated on

EA has been teasing us with small Battlefield 3 teaser trailers over the past few months, however recently a new 12 minute video was uploaded to YouTube by the official Battlefield YouTube channel, this is called the “Fault Line” trailer and shows us many aspects of the gameplay and campaign.

We have embedded the video at the end of this post, in our opinion this is the most realistic Battlefield game yet, perhaps even better-looking than any Call of Duty video game. Previously we spoke about the game’s particle lighting, this trailer shows how amazing the game’s lighting really is.

The campaign looks very enjoyable and pretty challenging, at one point you are on a rooftop trying to take out a sniper, later on you use a mounted gun, here you get to see some more great visuals such as the stunning explosions and realistic-looking fires.

One bad thing about this video is that the enemies seem to have very poor AI, they just come running towards you without hiding behind obstacles etc, however this may be different if you change the campaign’s difficulty level.

Check out the trailer below and let us know whether it has impressed you, will you buy Battlefield 3 instead of this years Call of Duty release? Let us know in the comments section below.

This game looks amazing especially with all the new weapons, vehicles and classes is going to keep me playing for a long time. Call of duty gets boring with the small variety of weapons to chose from and the fact that Call of duty does not have any vehicles just makes me even more fed up with the franchise. Quickscoping kept me playing and still does but that's it. All Call of duty has to do is suc it for the Frost Bite 2.0 engine, or there screwed.
