We have some encouraging news for Windows Phone 7 users now, as Microsoft has confirmed a collection of exciting apps that are on the way for devices as part of the Mango update, due to release sometime around Fall in the US.
Microsoft has recently spoken at MIX 11 about the upcoming Mango update, which is going to include major new features such as multitasking, background audio support for HTML5 web browsing, Push Notifications, Amazon shopping and much more, as reported from Engadget.
However, what Windows Phone 7 users didn’t know and perhaps the most exciting thing of all, is that Microsoft are planning to bring a number of apps which are sure to put a smile on your face. These are an official Skype app, Spotify for music lovers and Angry Birds – to satisfy your gaming needs whilst on the move.
We’re not sure which we’re more excited about either – it’s probably a toss up between Spotify and Skype since we’ve seen enough of Angry Birds for now, especially after the release of Rio. Then again, Windows Phone 7 users have not so you’re entitled to get a little pumped up for it’s release.
Which app are you most looking forward to? Spotify is another gem in our opinion.
