We have some exciting news now for those of you that are waiting for the much-anticipated Star Fox 64 3D to arrive for the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming system, as Nintendo Japan has recently launched a website for the upcoming remake, which appears to have revealed a release date.
According to Tynan Muddle over on the aussie-gamer.com website, the Star Fox 64 3D game – originally known as ‘Lylat Wars’ in Australia and Europe – will be released on July 14th in Japan. Unfortunately there has been no mention of an international release date at this stage.
However, Tynan has pointed out that the other Nintendo 64 remake, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, will be released on July 16th in Japan, which happens to be 3 days before the game is released in North America. We’ll keep you posted if we hear anything about an international release.
The Star Fox 64 3D game – which follows Fox McCloud, Hare, Slippy and Falco as they set off on a mission to save the universe – will not only feature a refreshed gameplay system, but it will also come with brand new graphics. Are you looking forward to the release of the Star Fox 64 3D game?
