After launching its mobile travel application for Android, Symbian and iOS devices, TripAdvisor has now decided to launch a Windows Phone 7 version. The app, which provides users with trusted travel advice, is available in 17 different countries and 5 different languages.
As Dusan over on the intomobile.com website recently reported, the TripAdvisor app for Windows Phone 7 provides travelers with access to the company’s complete database of over 45 million opinions and reviews on things such as attractions, restaurants and hotels.
It also features a ‘Near Me Now’ function, which enables travelers to view what attractions, restaurants and hotels that are nearby. It even enables them to browse through other travelers’ photos of destinations, hotels, attractions and restaurants that may be of interest.
The TripAdvisor application also gives users access to the TripAdvisor forums, where they can ask questions and receive useful feedback. Travelers can also use the application’s Flights Search, in order to find themselves a cheap flight. However, this feature is only available in the UK and US.
Have you ever used the TripAdvisor app before? Are you tempted to download this handy travel application onto your Windows Phone 7 device?
