We have some rather interesting news now for those of you that are fans of the Sims franchise, as EA Play has just announced the brand new Generations expansion pack for The Sims 3. The publisher has also revealed a release date and trailer for the much-anticipated add-on.
According to a recent cinemablend.com article by Pete Haas, The Sims 3 Generations expansion pack will be available for the PC and Mac as from May 31st. The Generations pack will take players through the various different stages of their Sim character’s life.

The expansion pack starts off in childhood, where players can experience tree houses, dance classes and even imaginary friends. It then moves onto the Sim’s teenage years, including pulling pranks on people, having a party when their parents are out and becoming prom king/queen.
It finally moves on to the Sim character’s adult life, where they can plan or attend weddings or bachelor/bachelorette parties and even experience a mid-life crisis. Players will even be able to make their own home-movies of their Sim’s life with the in-game cameras.
