It won’t be long now until the much-anticipated Fable III game finally makes its way onto the PC, and I’m sure many of you are eager to go and buy a copy. However, before you go out and spend the money, it might be worth checking to see if you can actually run the action-RPG on your PC.
A recent ign.com article by Kristine Steimer has provided a list of both the minimum and recommended specs required to run the upcoming Fable III game. The minimum requirements include 2GB memory, 12GB of free hard drive space and ATI HD 2600 Pro or NVIDIA 7600GT graphics hardware.
It also requires DirectX 9.0c or above, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz or AMD Athlon X2 4000+ CPU and either XP 32 SP3, Vista 32/64 or Windows 7 32/64 operating systems. Meanwhile, the recommended requirements include Windows 7 and an Intel Pentium 2.9GHz Core 2 Duo (or higher) CPU.
The recommended specs on the other hand do require 4GB of memory, but the same amount of hard drive space. As for the recommended graphics hardware, it should be NVIDIA 260GTX 896MB or ATI 5770 1GB or above. Gamers will also need an Internet or LAN connection to play multiplayer.
