If you’re a fan of extreme sports and you just happen to own an Apple iOS device, I think we have some rather interesting news for you. Fishlabs – the developer behind the Galaxy on Fire 2 iOS game – has just released a brand new extreme sports game onto the Apple App Store, called Snowboard Hero.
According to Anthony Usher over at pocketgamer.co.uk, the Snowboard Hero game – which is compatible with the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch – sees players competing in 42 different events that are spread across six different tracks, with each track containing half-pipe, piste and open alpine areas.
There are several events that players can take part in, including Classic Race, Gate-time Bonus, Time Trial, Slalom and Freestyle. The Snowboard Hero game (which costs £2.99/$4.99) also features online leader boards, which are provided through both OpenFeint and Game Center.
The game features a total of 4 playable characters, with each character having six standard and 4 special tricks to unlock, various stats to improve and a selection of outfits and boards. It also features Retina display support and intuitive touch and tilt controls. New characters will be available via a future update.
Are you an extreme sports fan? If you are, does this game sound appealing to you?
