If you have been following the news surrounding the new Battlefield 3 game you will be pleased to know that EA has released a new video which shows some gameplay footage, we have embedded a video at the end of this post showing new gameplay features never-before seen in a Battlefield game.
The video shows that you will not only be shooting enemy soldiers in this game but you may also be put in charge of defusing bombs. As well as this, you will be treated to some hand-to-hand combat also, which right now looks like a mini scenario whereby cues flash up on-screen and the gamer presses the corresponding button.
We are not sure how frequently hand-to-hand combat appears in the game and are not sure about how EA has gone about defusing bombs in the game as it is hard to tell from the video, but these are certainly two more additions that could feature more frequently in the campaign missions.
You can watch the video below and see the features in action. The game’s teaser trailers are beginning to create a clearer picture of how the game will work and how it is played. Are you happy about the addition of hand-to-hand combat and bomb disposal?
