Although no specific day of availability has been confirmed an article at Engadget claims Motorola has said its tablet will be on sale next week. Also with no price confirmation we are only able to provide you with speculative prices.

The 3G model is rumored to cost in the region of £600 and the Wi-Fi model to cost around £500. We will have to wait until release day to find out which model or if both will be on sale. More details can be found at Engadget by clicking the link above.

I don't get it. Why is this news? It's been available to pre-order at PC World, Dixons etc for weeks. The 3G model is also available to pre-order at CPW.

"we are now able to confirm that as from next week the Xoom will be on sale in the UK". So how come I had an e-mail from The Carphone Warehouse last week informing me that my pre-order will now be delivered later than previously thought due to a delay in the official launch date in the UK to 16th April? Doesn't make sense to me.
