Call of Juarez: The Cartel – Developer Reveals Demo Plans

A few weeks ago we provided our readers with a trailer and a few more details for the much anticipated Call of Juarez: The Cartel game. We now have a bit more good news for those of you that are waiting for the first-person shooter game to arrive, as the developer has just revealed its demo plans.

However, Techland International’s Brand Manager Blazej Krakowiak could not reveal whether the forthcoming demo – which according to a recent article by Sal Romano over on the scrawlfx.com website is more than likely going to be a cop-op demo – would arrive before or after the game’s release.

When asked what the developer’s goal is with the Call of Juarez: The Cartel game as far as the franchise is concerned, Krakowiak said that choosing the modern day was something new that they wanted to do with the series. He then continued on to say that they may well return to the traditional Wild West.

Another interesting question that Krakowiak was asked was whether the co-op gameplay would just be for online or possibly played together locally. Although he couldn’t exactly explain the reasons, Blazej Krakowiak did reveal that the co-op gameplay would in fact be limited to online only.
