Here is some exciting news for those of you which own one of Motorola’s latest smartphones, the Atrix 4G. If you have been experiencing bugs that affect performance of your phone then don’t worry as the company has revealed its plans of releasing software update for the device.
The OTA update version 4.1.57 will be imminent and promises to provide fixes for various problems the phone may have been having including fingerprint reader performance, headphone jack, car dock, and overall software stability and battery performance.
In order to avoid large data charges Motorola is recommending users download the 17MB by switching their devices to Wi-Fi. They also suggest that you have the device charged to at least half the battery life capacity.
For those of you that have rooted the Atrix, you will lose all features that you previously had with the download. It is also said that the 4.1.57 update will not fix problems that have been reported about the call quality.
