Duke Nukem Forever, Release Date Delayed (Again)

By Updated on

In late 2010 it was revealed that Duke Nukem Forever‘s release date had been pushed back from February 2011 to May 31st, now we are hearing of another delay.

Gearbox Software and 2K Games have today announced a new Duke Nukem Forever release date, it will become available internationally on June 10, whilst North Americans will have to wait until June 14.

No reason for the delay has been given, however Take Two reassure us by saying it is well-worth the wait, 2K’s Christoph Hartmann says “We’re committed to deliver a laugh-out-loud, politically incorrect experience that people will talk about for years to come. We thank Duke’s fans for their continued patience – I promise this won’t take another 15 years”.

Obviously delays annoy a lot of people but let’s face it developers have the game’s best interest in mind, for now you will have to make do with this gameplay video and the DukeNukemForever website.

Hopefully this will be the last Duke Nukem Forever delay we have to write about, obviously hardcore Duke Nukem fans will wait no-matter what but the long we wait the higher our expectations get. Which previous Duke Nukem game is your favorite?

You have your dates wrong, it was pushed from February to May 3rd, not the 31st.
