A article posted on Eurogamer says that three projects that were intended to be released on the Nintendo 3DS have now been dropped. The three games, Bomberman, Bonk and Omega Five will no longer be appearing on the 3DS as orginally planned says Famitsu magazine.
No explanation for the decision has been given, however Eurogamer suggest that it could be because Hudsen (the company making all three cancelled titles), has been taken over by Konami recently. At the moment it looks as if 3DS has lost out on some promising titles, however this has not yet been officially confirmed.
Eurogamer also state that in the same article, there is news of more cancellations across different platforms; two RPG’s for the Wii have been cancelled, Bonk: Brink of Extinction for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, Deca Sports 4 for Wii, Bass Fishing Life for PlayStation 3 and Bomberman for PlayStation 3.
It currently looks like the 3DS will be for now without Bomberman, Bonk and Omega Five, but until we hear official confirmation of this we wouldn’t worry too much, let’s face it these were hardly titles which were high on people’s Nintendo 3DS game wishlist.
