If you own an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and you’re a fan of the Resident Evil games, then we have a bit of news that could be of interest to you. Judging by this week’s issue of Japanese video gaming magazine Famitsu, not one but two Resident Evil games are being remade for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
According to Spencer over at siliconera.com, word has it that both the Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica games are receiving the HD treatment as part of the Resident Evil: Revival Selection. It is unknown at this stage whether the two games will be bundled together or sold separately.
We don’t really know that much information at this stage, other than Aya’s ‘Separate Ways’ scenario that featured in the PlayStation 2 version of Resident Evil 4 will be included in the RE4 HD remake. We also know that the upcoming version of Resident Evil: Code Veronica is Code Veronica X.
Resident Evil: Code Veronica X features extra cut scenes that were not included in the original Dreamcast release back in 2000. Both Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica have been released on numerous platforms across the years, including PlayStation 2, Nintendo Gamecube and even Microsoft Windows.
Are you pleased to hear that these two games are being re-mastered for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360?
