Great news now for all you AT&T customers out there that are thinking of buying the upcoming Acer Iconia Tab A501 tablet PC, as the wireless network provider has just announced that it will be supporting the 4G tablet when it launches sometime this summer.
As Jeff Cormier over on the examiner.com website recently reported, the Acer Iconia Tab A501 tablet – which is designed for both consumers and small businesses – comes with some pretty impressive specs including a 10.1-inch high-resolution display.
The tablet is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 250 dual-core processor running at 1GHz, which comes with integrated graphics for fast HD gaming, multimedia consumption and web browsing and it runs on the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system.
It also features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a high-definition front-facing camera for video calls and a HDMI port, which enables users to play 1080p video on their big screen HDTVs. Distribution and pricing details will be revealed closer to the tablet’s launch.
