If you love photography and you own the new Apple iPad 2, then I’m pretty sure you’re going to love the recently released Pocketbooth HD app for iPad 2. This fun app – which is already available for the iPhone and iPod Touch – will instantly turn your new tablet PC into a vintage photobooth.
As noted over on the itunes.apple.com website, the pocketbooth HD application has been carefully designed to emulate the experience of a Model 11 photobooth from the 1950s era. The Pocketbooth app is also AirPrint enabled, which means that users can print out their photostrips directly from the app.

However, the AirPrint capability does require a compatible device and printer. Users will even be able to choose between the front and rear facing cameras. The Pocketbooth HD application will also enable users to share their photostrips via Facebook, Twitter or even email.
Although the app automatically saves users’ photostrips onto the app, they can also be exported to the Camera Roll if need be. The photos, which are all tagged with EXIF data including GPS location, can be customized with different effects, paper stocks and pose options.
The app is compatible with both the iPad 2 Wi-Fi and iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G. You can view a video of the app in action below this post. Have you used the Pocketbooth application on your iOS device yet?
