In an earlier post we talked about the new Samsung Series 9 range of 13-inch laptops, this post brings you information regarding the 11-inch Series 9 laptops. Unlike the 13-inch that have been given a release date and price, no information can be granted for the 11-inch variant, however information will be released next month so for now we can only fill you in on its specs.
The 11-inch laptops will come with the Intel Core i3 Processor 380UM (1.33 GHz, 3MB) and 2GB DDR3 which will run Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) pre-installed. There will be a wide-range of hard drive sizes to choose from, however Samsung seem to be promoting the 64GB SSD, this will probably offer the best performance and lowest power consumption.
The screen will be 11.1-inch HD LED-backlit SuperBright Plus Display (340 nit) with Intel GMA HD graphics, a maximum resolution of 1366×768 is supported. Similar to the 13-inch model, the laptop will come with 3 watt stereo speakers and 7 hours of battery life. It will also be wireless (802.11b/g/n) and will include WiMax for mobile internet access.
The laptop will weigh 2.31 lbs and as mentioned earleir, has not been given an official price tag as yet, as soon as we hear of a price we will keep you posted.
